donny lo is a US-based songwriter and creative director with a special focus on curating immersive live performance events for projects he’s deeply passionate about & personally invested in.

He’s been capturing the essence of the live music scene — and those who call it home —since 2013 when he first became active in Charlotte, NC, embracing the value of meaningful storytelling.

Danilo (Donny-Lo) “Delta” Castillejo is a soulful rhythm & blues multi-instrumentalist who has been active as a live performer since he was 16 years old. His reputation as a songwriter is bonafide as he sonically threads the needle between blues, gospel, and folk stylings. He’s performed in US markets and abroad, having earned him international acclaim in France, Germany and Switzerland.

Although he was born in New York State, we won’t hold that against him! donny is known for fusing & blending together elements of southern rock, gypsy-jazz, and Afro-Caribbean-Latin genres along with a healthy dose of improvisational spontaneity — enthusiastically intersecting free-form expression with the typical rigidity of jazz stylings and bluegrass Americana music.

He is also known for founding the NY-based musical improv group, originally called "The Mango Jam", which he represents under an independently-owned artist management record label by the name of: Hum of the Earth Studios.
